Role

BREAKFAST is creating a new category of physical art — living, data-driven sculptures that respond to the world.

Our work exists in museums, public spaces, and private collections globally — and we are just beginning.

We are looking for a Concept & Visualization Designer who can help shape what comes next:

A hands-on creative who can take raw artistic ideas and evolve them into compelling visual studies, forms, materials, scale, and movement.

This is not a rendering production job.
This is a creative collaboration role — one with impact, authorship, and evolution.

You will sit close to the artist, helping transform imagination into visual reality.

What You'll Do
  • Translate sketches, 3D models, and loose ideas into visual studies and variations
  • Explore form, space, motion, material, and scale
  • Create 3D concepts, studies, animations, and renders
  • Develop visual directions and help refine the “world” of the work
  • Iterate rapidly — exploring possibilities, not polishing prematurely
  • Place works into real architectural environments for proposals + presentations
  • Assist with creative presentations for collectors, architects, museums, developers, curators
  • Evolve concepts from abstract to architectural scale
  • Help refine existing works into new installations and variations
  • Participate in creative discussions and push ideas forward
  • Maintain quality, taste, and execution across every visual output

You’re not here to “make files.”You’re here to help shape the future of kinetic sculpture.

Who You Are
  • A strong visual thinker — you think in form, space, movement, light
  • Skilled in 3D (Solidworks / Onshape / Fusion / Rhino / Blender / Maya / Unity / Unreal / KeyShot or similar)
  • Able to render beautifully — or learn fast and get there
  • Hands-on with materials, textures, and physicality (not just digital polish)
  • You iterate fast and explore possibilities, not just execute instructions
  • You get energy from experimentation and solving creative puzzles
  • You can go from napkin sketch → 3D study → refined concept → presentation
  • You admire architecture, sculpture, industrial design, computational art
  • You care about taste, restraint, elegance, and intentional form
  • You’re hungry to grow and contribute to something meaningful and lasting
  • You want to be in the room where new ideas form — and help shape them
Not For
  • “Just tell me what to model” minds

  • People who only polish final renders

  • Corporate design thinkers

  • People who need detailed direction

  • Artists who want to be the center — this is a collaboration, not self-promotion

  • People with rigid ego and no curiosity

This role is for someone who wants to stand at the frontier of physical art and contribute to work that will exist long after us.

We Don't Hire Often

When we do, it’s because we’ve reached a moment that will shape where this goes next.
Our studio is small and elite. Every seat matters.
If you feel like you are meant to be here, reach out. Trust that signal.

Practical Notes
  • In-person role in Brooklyn
  • Works alongside the artist and core creative team
  • Full-time with growth path
  • Travel occasionally for site visits / installations
